The CBSE will train students in CCE workshops

Principals and teachers receiving training of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is a very common scenario. The CBSE board has decided to step further by training the students in CCE as well.

The board is pulling in some private agencies who can conduct one or two day workshops for students in various aspects of CCE. These workshops will be mandatory for teachers but they are kept optional for students.

CCE workshops for students

These workshops will focus on subjects like life skills, reading programmes, innovation and leadership skills, communication strategies, career counselling, mental health and adolescent issues, study skills and learning strategies, capacity building programmes for heads of the schools, teachers and students, creative writing, story telling, writing and translation, disaster management, financial literacy, CCE and CBSE initiatives.

According to the CBSE's officials "trainers of the project should keep in mind that entire project will be implemented in phases. For the smooth roll out of the solution, a phase-wise implementation schedule is being proposed. It is expected that detailed project deliverables and schedules under each phase will be discussed and mutually agreed upon between the bidders and CBSE."

The first phase will comprise design and development, validation of content and its approval by CBSE. Then there will be a selection and deployment of agencies in schools
