The Pune University has made certain changes in the schedule of the examination time-table of the university. As a result, 15th November's papers got postponed as the state government has declared a holiday on account of Moharram.
"All papers which were to be held on 15th November will now be held after the exam for the respective courses are over," says WV Gade, Vice-chancellor of Pune University.
Now, Pune University has declared 15th November as holiday for Moharram and no papers will be conducted on that day. He added "the government has now issued a directive declaring Moharram holiday on 15th November, which had initially planned as a working day."
He stated "the fresh dates of all those papers which were slated for 15th November but now stand postponed, will be declared on the university's website soon."
