After Telangana state formation, Seemandhra to have new IIT,IIM,AIIMS

After the formation of Telangana state, now Seemandhra is set to have prestigious institutes like Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

The discussions took place in a meeting with the group of ministers (GoM), which was held in Hyderabad.

Central government has given an assurance to the people of Seemandhra region to have prestigious institutes, and international airport, metro rail and a training hospital.

The city of Hyderabad already boasts of an IIT.

Central government is also planning to establish new research institutes, central university, a port, and a School of Fashion Technology.

According to the available sources, the final decision on these recommendations is yet to be taken.

The IITs, IIMs and AIIMS are group of institutes, which is under the control of central government. They are the independent educational institutes offering Engineering, Technology, Management and Medical courses all over India.
