Munna Singh appointed as VC of Chandra Shekhar Azad University

Uttar Pradesh Governor B L Joshi has appointed Munna Singh as the Vice Chancellor of Chandra Shekhar Azad (CSA) University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur.

Singh is presently working with Lucknow University and his tenure as VC at CSA Kanpur would be of three years from the date of assuming office, official sources here said.

The Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur is recognised today as the premier institution of agricultural research and education in India.

Earlier, a search committee has been set up to draw up a panel of name of Agriculture Scientist of repute, or distinguished field officers with outstanding credentials in agriculture extension-related work, for consideration for the post of Vice-chancellor.
