Candidates can change examination city for GATE 2014 exam

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, is set to conduct Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) for the year 2014, for admission to Postgraduate programmes in IITs.

GATE 2014 online registration has been closed. Now, candidates can change the examination city for exam as well.

Candidates who wish to change the choice of the examination city, may have to fill necessary details on GATE official website.

Change Examination city for GATE 2014

Procedure:

  • Candidates have to login at GOAPS website.
  • Candidates have to fill their choice of examination city name.
  • They have to take printout of the request form.
  • They should have to obtain a DD of Rs 400/- drawn in favor of "Chairperson, GATE 2014", should be payable at the city of respective Zonal GATE office.
  • The printout of request form and DD has to be sent to the respective GATE zonal office by 25 Nov 2013.

GATE is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

GATE exam for the year 2014 will be conducted online on Saturdays and Sundays from 1st Feb to 2nd March 2014.

GATE 2014 exam will be held in two sessions, forenoon session from 9 AM to 12 PM and afternoon session from 2 PM to 5 PM.
