Important Instructions to CET 2013 candidates for allotment of seats

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore, has announced the online option entry process for allotment of seats to Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani Naturopathy and Yoga Courses for the year 2013-14.

Before entering the online options for allotment, candidates must have to know the important instructions to enter the options.

Important Instructions:

1. The candidates who have been assigned ISMH / Veterinary ranks in CET-2013 are eligible to participate in this round by entering the options afresh.
2. If the candidate gets a seat in the colleges entered by him / her in this round, the seat opted by him / her in this round will be confirmed and the seat held by him / her in the earlier round will get cancelled automatically.
3. Please note that if any seat gets allotted in this round as per merit and options entered by the candidate, there is no chance of getting back the earlier allotted seat.
4. In this round, only Veterinary and Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani and Naturopathy seats will be offered.
5. Candidates are advised to enter all the options they want, to select whether the seats shown in the seat matrix or not, only for the reason that consequential vacancies may arise during allotment process and the candidates will have a chance of getting a better seat if they have entered the options.
6. Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seat and who are not interested / willing to participate in this round need not enter any options in the option entry. The allotted seat in the earlier round will be confirmed.
7. The candidates who are allotted seat in this round should invariably report to the allotted college on or before 5.30 pm on 25 Oct 2013.
8. Candidates who are entering the options mean they are looking for better seat than the allotted seat in the earlier round. Therefore, candidates are advised to enter only such options which they feel that the options entered by them are better.
9. If the candidate does not get any seat in this round then the seat allotted to him / her in the earlier round if any, stands confirmed.
10. All candidates who have been allotted afresh in this round, should compulsorily join the colleges after making payment and report to KEA portal for confirmation, otherwise seat gets cancelled.
11. The fee paid by the candidates in the earlier round if any, will be adjusted upon allotment of a seat in this round.

Note:
Consequential vacancies that arise after their turn cannot be claimed, and consequential vacancies of other discipline which arises due to allotment will not be offered.
