ICAIEA 2014: Second International Conference by Anna University
Anna University invites everyone for the second international conference on 'Advances in Industrial Engineering Applications (ICAIEA)', scheduled from 6th to 8th January, 2014.
The conference is organised by Department of Industrial Engineering, Anna University. The theme of the conference is "Towards Industrial and Service Excellence".
Scope of the conference:
- Industrial Engineering emphasises optimising performance using advanced analytical methods to make better decisions. Optimisation tools and techniques are used in many different industry segments from health care to logistics to financial services.
- Industrial Engineering helps to solve diverse business problems such as identifying best product placements in retail establishments to ensuring appropriate inventory levels in spare parts manufacturing.
- This International Conference provides a forum for presentations and discussion of the state of current applications and research in Industrial Engineering.
- It plays an important role in providing a platform for researchers for a mutual exchange of knowledge towards improving the academic, scientific and research programs.
