ACT offers free online test for JEE Main
Agni College of Technology (ACT), Chennai, offers free online test for the candidates aspiring for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main for admission to IITs.

ACT has created a 30,000 questionnaire of JEE Main entrance exam, and it has uploaded online as free pre-assessment test for JEE Main aspirants in the subjects like Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

ACT has been ranked as the top 20th engineering college in Tamil Nadu.

Interested candidates have to logon to the ACT website for free registration for online test.

They have developed this tool for poor students who cannot afford to admit in training / coaching classes for rural areas.

The question bank was built on personal inquiry and contribution from IIT interns who had written the JEE main in the past, says Dr S R R Senthil Kumar, principal.

In each subject, 25 questions will be uploaded every week, to ensure that maximum modules are covered before the JEE examination.

The time duration for the test will be one hour. In addition students have pause option as well.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, will conduct the JEE Main 2014 exam for admission, into engineering courses across the country in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

JEE Main exam for the year 2014 will be conducted on 6th April, and JEE Advanced exam will be on 25th May.
