Mid-Registration Trends for CAT 2013
Indore: Indian Institutes of Management has announced mid-registration trends for Common Admission Test 2013 (CAT2013). According to the source, Delhi NCR ranks no. 1 with the maximum number of registrations received till date, followed by Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Ahmedabad.


Prometric, trusted provider ofmarket-leading test development and test delivery solutions is the IIM's partner in developing and delivering CAT 2013. The registration window for CAT 2013 ends 26 September.

Testing centers in Delhi NCR, Bangalore and Hyderabad are closest to meeting their full capacity and will soon be closed for registration. These cities are followed by Surat, Bangalore, Pune, Patna, Kolkata, Udaipur, Jaipur, Mumbai andRanchi.

"Interest in gaining an MBA continues to be high, and CAT registration follows that trend," said Professor Rohit Kapoor, CAT 2013 Convenor. "Students see value in the ROI of attending the IIMs. They see how placement salaries at IIMs compare favourably, not just in India, but even internationally whenconsidering tuition costs. Getting placed upon graduation is never an issue."

Registrationfigures will be announced after the conclusion of the CAT registration window.

"We are reaching a point in the registration process where students need a sense of urgency while preferred testing locations remain available, said Soumitra Roy, General Manager, Prometric India. "We are sharing trends on highest registration and seating capacity to help registrants understand where availability is becoming increasingly limited."

Vouchers will be available at selectAxis Bank branchesuntil24 September 2013 and the registration window will be open until26 September 2013. A list of Axis Bank branches is available on the IIM website (http://www.cat2013.iimidr.ac.in/bank_branchs.htm).
