University of Calcutta offers Ph.D in Sociology admission 2014
Candidates who do not have NET/SET or M.Phil have to sit for the written test. Such candidates are advised to consult the PG syllabus of the Department of Sociology.
Eligibility:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 55% of marks from a UGC recognised university.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on entrance test score and interview conducted by the university.
How to apply:
- The application form can be downloaded from the official website of Calcutta University.
- Application can also be obtained from the university sales counter by paying Rs 100/- in cash.
Important Dates:
- Last date for the submission of application form is 25 Sept 2013.
- Entrance Test will be held on 30 Sept 2013.
- Results of entrance test on 7 Oct 2013.
