Lucknow University offers Ph.D admission 2013

Lucknow University, invites applications for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programmes commencing in 2013.

University offers admissions to Ph.D courses to be conducted in two phases.

Phase I:
The feasible vacant seats available for fresh Ph.D. admission in broad subdisciplines of each department, shall be advertised category wise by the Registrar, initially inviting application only from those candidates with CSIR/UGC JRF/INSPIRE fellowship, valid till September 15 of that year and fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed in section 4.

Phase II:
After all the JRF applicants in each department have been considered, the remaining vacant seats shall be re-advertised category wise by the Registrar inviting applications from all candidates, fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed in section 4.

Eligibility:
Candidates should have a Master's degree in relevant discipline with 50% (45% for SC/ST) of marks from recognised university.

Application fee:
General / OBC candidates: Rs 1,000/-.
SC/ST candidates: Rs 500/-.
