GIIS Noida hosts Uttar Pradesh State U 11 Chess Championship

Hosting of state championship at the campus, offered a platform to the chess players of GIIS to interact with students of different schools, play as host members, observe the various techniques of playing the game and join in the spirit of competition; which helps in an over-all personality development.

Tropies of Chess Competition

In the Boys' Category Eric Vaish of DPS Ghaziabad secured first place by Scoring 5.5 point out of 6 Points and in Girls' Category, Sanskriti Goyal from Agra, an Inter National Rated Player got 5/5 to secure first position.

Both the winners will represent U P in National from 2nd September 13, Other prize winners were follows Sumit Mishra from Baliya in 2nd Place by scoring 56, Utkarsh Routh of moradabad in 3rd place by securing 5/6. Yash 3rd Joshi on 4th by securing 5/6, Shivansh uppal in 5th place securing 5/6 in Boys' category. Shanya Mishra on 2nd position by securing 4/5, Saumya Tyagi on 3nd Place by securing 3/5, Meha Kapur in 4th place by securing 3/5, Trishla Gupta in 5th place by securing 3/5 in Girls' Category.
