Teacher is a person who always helps everybody to get the knowledge and always stands beside the students when they have problems.

Today is Teacher's Day! They're the people who try to make you learn stuff and they work really hard at what they do.

They are grossly underpaid and under-appreciated for the things that they have to put up with and the importance of their work, so why don't you do something nice for a teacher today.

Teacher's Day in India is held on September 5, on the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, India's second President and an extremely respected scholar and teacher of philosophy.

On Teacher's day, students across India dress up as their teachers and take lectures in classes that are assigned to the teachers they represent.

Sometimes, teachers sit in their classes as students, trying to relive the time when they themselves were students.
