The University of Cambridge invites applications for Gates Cambridge Scholarships for the year 2014. Interested students are requested to apply before the due date.

Applications are considered if the student is applying to pursue any of the full-time residential courses of the study in below mentioned courses.

PhD (3years research-only degree).
M.Sc or M.Litt (2years research-only degree).
M.Phil, LM, MASt, Diploma and MBA(3year postgraduate course).

About Scholarships

Gates Cambridge Scholarships are full-cost scholarships for students applying to the prestigious University of Cambridge. They are awarded to excellent international applicants to pursue a full time postgraduate degree in any subject offered at the University of Cambridge.

Gates Cambridge Scholarship 2014

Students require GRADSAF application form which includes a Gates Cambridge section, academic transcripts, 2 academic references and 1 personal reference.
The applicants may also be asked to submit a research proposal, an example of your written work and a GRE/GMAT score.

Given the intense competition, the Trust has a four stage selection process:
1. Departmental ranking - the very best applicants to each department is ranked on academic merit only.
2. Shortlisting - Gates Cambridge committees review the applications of ranked candidates using all four Gates Cambridge criteria and put forward a list for interview.
3. Interview - all shortlisted candidates have a short interview to assess how they meet all four Gates Cambridge criteria.
4. Selection - chairs of interview panels meet to decide the final list of scholars.

Applications are required to apply for both the scholarship and admission to their chosen postgraduate course at the University of Cambridge through the Graduate Admission Office, using the GRADSAF form and supporting documents.
