XLRI invites applications for Virtual Interactive Learning Programme

XLRI Jamshedpur invites applications for its VIL (Virtual Interactive Learning) Programmes admissions for the year 2013.

The Virtual Interactive Learning (VIL) offers 12 months consolidated programs in different functional areas of Management.

Professionals / Executives can complete their management education while they are still in service or having their own business.

After successful completion of the program students are awarded a "Postgraduate Certificate". These programmes are offered across the country.

Objectives of these programmes:

The primary objective of these programs is to provide the participants with the critical knowledge of management issues and the ability to apply this knowledge in the workplace.

To give participants an opportunity to understand the challenges and complexities within their respective fields of management thereby equipping with the necessary skill-sets to adopt an appropriate course of action in their day-to-day work environment.

To impart and learn the critical aspects of Management processes.

VIL offers the following programs:

1. Postgraduate Certificate in Business Management (PGCBM)

2. Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (PGCHRM)

3. Postgraduate Certificate in Retail Management (PGCRM)

4. Postgraduate Certificate in Sales and Marketing Management (PGCSMM)

5. Postgraduate Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (PGCLSCM)

ALL these programs have a common feature of campus component wherein the students visit the XLRI campus for a period of 5 days for training, evaluation and certification.

Virtual Interactive Learning (VIL) programmes

The Virtual Interactive Learning (VIL) offers 12 months consolidated programs in different functional areas of Management.

PGCBM

The program aims to provide an opportunity to study and earn a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Management (PGCBM) while working. The program is being offered by XLRI in collaboration with its technical partners of virtual classroom.

PGCHRM

The program aims to provide an opportunity to study and earn a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (PGCHRM) while working without interrupting their career. The program is being offered by XLRI in collaboration with its technical partners of virtual classroom.

PGCRM

The program has been specially designed for those who seek to create or accelerate managerial careers in the Retail industry. Working professionals with at least one year's experience in the organised retail sector, or at least two years work experience in any corporate function, would find the program challenging and stimulating.

PGCSMM

The program drives the participants through general business management and then train them in Sales and Marketing Management. XLRI has specially designed this program of 12 months duration. After successful completion of the programme students will be awarded "Postgraduate Certificate in Sales and Marketing Management".

PGCLSCM

The primary objective of this course is to provide the participant with the critical knowledge of logistics and supply chain management and the ability to apply this information in the workplace whether in the management of a firm's related activities or within the scope of the logistics service provider's activities.
