IGNOU offers admission in Diploma in Elementary Education Programme
The D.El.Ed programme of IGNOU is an innovative programme for the professional development of primary/elementary school teachers.
The programme is self-instructional, and has been developed by the school faculty and a highly experienced group of teacher educators. The programme is recognised by NCTE (National Council for Teacher's Education).
The course eligibility would be applicable for untrained teachers teaching in permanent positions at the primary/elementary level with a teaching experience of 2 years or above. The applicant should have passed 10 + 2 examination with a minimum of 50% of marks (as per NCTE norms).
The course duration is minimum 2 Years and maximum 4 years. Medium of instruction will be in English and Hindi.
How to apply:
- The student Handbook and Prospectus can be obtained from IGNOU Regional Centres located in every state or from Registrar, IGNOU, New Delhi-110068 in person on a payment of Rs 400/- in cash.
- Application form can also be obtained through post by sending an IPO/DD of Rs. 450/- drawn in favour of IGNOU should be payable at the city from where the prospectus is required.
- An electronic version of prospectus can be downloaded from the website www.ignou.ac.in and submitted along with IPO/DD of Rs 400/-.
Sale of prospectus will commence from Aug 06th, 2013 at the concerned Regional Centres and at the Headquarters.
Last date to receive the Student Handbook and Prospectus by post is Aug 19, 2013 and for submission of filled-in forms at the concerned Regional Centres is Aug 24, 2013.
