The result was announced by the School and Mass Education Minister Rabi Narayan Nanda.
Total pass rate is 37.96 % this year, Nanda informed media while congratulating the successful students wishing a bright career.
As many as 58,361 students appeared in the test this year out of which 22,152 students cleared it successfully. At least 9,520 girls are among the passed students, he added.
Nuapada district has recorded highest pass rate of 68.15 % while Keonjhar witnessed the lowest pass rate of 28.21%, sources said.
The mark-sheets and provisional certificates will be issued to the students by August 3, the Minister said.
The results booklets are available at the BSE head office at Cuttack. The candidates can know about the details of their results on the official websites of BSE and some other sites after 2 pm. S
Students can log on to www.bseodisha.nic.in to check the results.
The mass education department had expected to publish the results early by mid-July to help students to go for higher education without losing an academic year.
The department had made every possible effort to finish the evaluation work on scheduled time.
