He was speaking after inaugurating a new complex named after Maharaja Pratapsinhrao Gaekwad, an erstwhile ruler of princely state of Baroda, at M S University here.
Chudasama also led the state in observing Guru Purnima' today. There is a trend that those who fail to get admission in professional branches like medical, engineering, science and pharmacy get admission into Bachelor of Education (BEd) and PTC (Primary Teachers Course) and become teachers, the Minister remarked.
He justified the Government's decision to celebrate Independence Day, Republic Day and Gujarat Foundation Day (May 1) in different parts of the state every year.
"Gujarat is lucky to have Narendra Modi as its Chief Minister, who started this practice of celebrating these three major events in various parts of the state every year," Chudasama added.
