Income Tax Department Raids Seven Medical Colleges across Karnataka

Karnataka: The Income tax officials have set to raid seven medical colleges across Karnataka. The well known BGS medical college in Bangalore was raided yesterday around 12:00 pm.

The raid also took place in Gulbarga district. The IT officials are examining the seized documents.

As the Vijayanagar Adicunnagiri Math branch center was also hooked up under raid, the inhabitants of the community attacked the officials.

Ambedkar Medical College in Bangalore was also raided by the authorities of the Income tax department. Moreover, three medical colleges including four in Gulbarga were raided simultaneously.

The residence of Shashil Namoshi, President of Gulbarga-Hyderabad Karnataka Educational institutions was raided too. This almost shocked the president as well as his party members.

Mr. Shashil is also a former member of the assembly of the Hyderabad Karnataka Educational institutions. Few other residences of Counsellors of Higher Educational institutions were raided as well.

The documents are being verified strictly, by the officials of Income tax department.
