Odisha JEE 2013 Provisional List for Engineering Declared Today

It may be noted that earlier the publication of the provisional list of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) for BTech and BPharm has been postponed to July 12 in the wake of the ongoing JEE Mains and National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) counselling.

After the publication of the provisional list, candidates for BTech course will be allowed to withdraw their choices from July 13 to 15. The provisional list for BPharm will be declared on July 14. The NEET rank holders can withdraw their choices on July 15 and 16.

Final allotment for BTech course will be done on July 17 and for BPharm on July 19. Students have to report to their allotted colleges by July 20 for BTech and July 21 for BPharm. OJEE officials said dates were changed to accommodate JEE Mains and NEET rank holders in the first list.

A final allotment will be available on www.ojee.nic.in on July 16 and students will get alerts through SMS. They have to download the allotment letters from the website and report to the institution for admission between July 17 and 20.

Candidates, who choose to withdraw the university registration fee after the provisional allotment between July 11 and 13, will be out of the counselling process. As a result, they will not be considered for further allotment or upgrade to a college higher in their preference list.

A total of 62,157 candidates had qualified for B.Tech admissions in the exam that was held in May. There are 45,000 engineering seats in 92 colleges. Scheduled castes and scheduled tribe candidates, who have not registered themselves so far can go for choice re-locking from July 11 to 13.

It may be noted that Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE 2013) results published. This year 95, 278 students appeared in the OJEE. Among them 90, 899 cleared the OJEE.

OJEE 2013 conducted on May 12 for admission to admission into engineering, pharmacy, MBA, MCA among other streams in colleges in Odisha. The declaration of result will be followed by counseling. OJEE officials informed that the counseling is expected to begin by the second week of June.

The Counseling for admission to first year degree courses in MBBS/BDS streams in government and private colleges of the state will be done by OJEE 2013 as per the state merit list of NEET UG 2013 from CBSE/ Government of India.
