KEA adds 7400 more Engineering Seats
Karnataka Private engineering colleges surrendered 7,415 seats to Karntaka Examinations Authority (KEA) to add for CET matrix.

KEA added these seats to CET 2013 engineering seat matrix admission to the students who qualified for B.E courses.

Principal Secretary to the Department of Higher Education, Rajneesh Goel, told reporters, "As many as 7,415 BE seats from private colleges have been added to government quota, taking the total number of B.E seats available to 58,637. The number of MBBS seats available for eligible candidates is 2,094, and has been added to the seat matrix."

On e-payment of fees, KEA Executive Director Chakravarthy Mohan said, "A dedicated account has been opened with Indian Bank for CET fee payment. A student, after accepting the seat allotment, can directly transfer the admission fee to the account without taking a DD,"

"Admission fees can also paid by credit or debit card or from any bank which has core banking system. Detailed instruction on the procedures for e-payment of admission fee will soon be announced," he added.

The number of B Arch seats available in government quota is 541 and BSc-Agri seats is ,172.

On Friday, KEA also added 416 MBBS seats to the CET 2013 matrix.
