JEE Main 2013 Seat Allotment Schedule Modified by CSAB

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, with its headquarters at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha-769008, has revised the schedule of events for the counselling based on the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) for 2013.

This reworking on the schedule comes after the direction of the Ministry of HRD to drop the policy of 'Common Seat Acceptance' between the Institutes linked to JEE (Main) (NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and SFTIs) and JEE (Advanced) (IITs, ISM) and the delay in receipt of the final merit list incorporating both JEE (Main) and Board marks.

Candidates eligible for counselling can register online for counselling after release of JEE (Main) Common Merit List (CML) till 12 noon on July 9, 2013 by using internet facility from any place of convenience, at the website of CSAB. Filling up of choices can be done only after the candidate gets registered.

Please note that choices can be filled only till 5 pm on July 9, 2013 on on the website after which the link will be disabled.

The first round of seat allocation will be announced on July 10, 2013. Candidates should check their allocation status on CSAB website and must print the seat acceptance acknowledgement letter from the CSAB-2013 website if they are allotted a seat.

Candidates have to personally report at any of the Reporting Centres (RCs) against the First Round of allocation, between July 11 (Thursday) and July 14, 2013 (Sunday).
