Dr. Shashi Tharoor honors KIIT Group Of Colleges

Gurgaon, July 2013: All India Technical and Management Council in an recent award ceremony felicitated KIIT Group of Colleges, Gurgaon Prestigious Academic Leadership Award in Technical Education. Prof.(Dr.) S.S.Agrawal, Director General ,KIIT Group of Colleges received the award on behalf of KIIT.

The Award was given to KIIT, Gurgaon by the guest of honor, Dr. Shashi Throor, Honourable MOS, HRD. The event saw the presence the Sh. Digvijay Singh, Ex-CM, M.P. & General Secretary, AICC as the Chief Guset. Many Industrial Ministers and Directors of Technical Education from different States graced the Award Ceremony.

In his acceptance speech, Prof (Dr) S S Agrawal thanked to Sh Digvijay Singh and All India Technical and Management Council. He expressed happiness and said over the years, we are mutually contributing to the education sector of India. Mr.Agarwal thanked to all the people, faculty who are part of KIIT stating that without whose support we couldn't have made this possible.

He further added that KIIT's mission is to graduate socially responsible future technologists and business leaders with good communications skills, problem solving skills and an entrepreneurial spirit with a commitment to economic development.

On this occasion an Industry-Academia meet was also organized to improve the industry-academia relations thereby promoting employment opportunities for graduates in various companies.
