IGNOU Opens Master of Education (M.Ed) admission 2013
The Master of Education (M.Ed.) Programme of IGNOU aims at developing the understanding and competencies required by practicing teachers for effective teaching-learning process at the master level.
Duration of the Course:
The minimum duration of the programme is two years.
Medium of Instruction: English
Eligibility:
- Candidates should have a B.Ed with 55% of marks from any recognized board of education institute.
- Two years teaching/professional experience after completion of B.Ed programme in Government/ Government recognized schools/ NCTE recognized Teacher Training/ research Institution of Education.
- The Reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central/ State Government whichever is applicable. There shall be relaxation of 5% marks fro them.
- Only working teachers are available.

The Application form and Prospectus can be obtained from the regional office of IGNOU Across India.
Important Dates:
Last date to submit filled-in application form to the concerned Regional Centre: Aug 08, 2013.
Date of Entrance test on: Sept 08, 2013.
