OJEE counseling extended till July 5
Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) board has extended its counseling till July 5, 2013 at all 25 nodal centres.

Odisha High court ordered to board to extend the counseling.

AICTE approved seats in 30 Engineering colleges in Odisha. Initially these seat were not in counseling so they approached court to include in counseling for admissions.

More than 3,500 seats have been increased after the revision of the seat matrix. Sources said several other engineering institutes other than the 30 colleges which approached the court have also asked for the additional seats of their colleges to be included in the seat matrix prepared.

More than 15,000 students have already completed their online counselling and choice locking.

Odisha JEE Engineering counseling for 45,000 seats held at 25 nodal centers. OJEE-qualified students can register their names mentioning their roll numbers, date of birth and the 16-digit barcode to choose the colleges and trades as well.

From this year, students can browse the performance record of institutes up to last four years before taking a decision.

As many as 25 nodal centres across the state will start functioning from June 13 to facilitate students regarding choice locking of their chosen centres.

Over 62,000 students have qualified the OJEE for admission against 44,000 seats in around 100 technical colleges.

This year aspirants will have to pay Rs 5,000 towards University registration fee apart from counseling charges of Rs 450/-. Last year, the students paid Rs 16,000 towards part-admission fee during counseling.
