PG Diploma in Hydro Power Engineering admissions at NPTI, Punjab

National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Punjab invites application form for admissions to Postgraduate (PG) Diploma in Hydro Power Plant Engineering programmes commencing in session 2013-14.

The main aim of the course is to develop the pool of technically trained manpower readily available for recruitment to the Indian Power Sector. The course enhances the knowledge and skill of the fresh Graduate Engineers who join this course as their own as well as the engineers sponsored by Power utilities etc.

About the course:
The course is of 39 weeks duration & covers all aspects of Hydro Power Plant Engineering including O&M, erection, commissioning, Management , Distribution of Electricity & Tariff. The course covers the syllabus as per Indian Electricity Rules.

Eligibility:

• The Candidates should have a B.E/B.Tech degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Power / Control & Instrumentation Engineering discipline with 60% of marks from a recognized university.
• Candidates must be on age limit of 27 years as on July 01, 2013.

To provide career opportunities in the Indian power sector, NPTI is maintaining close linkages with the Hydro Power utilities& reputed companies for the placement. Most of the students are placed in power sector companies before the completion of course.

Last date for receipt of completed application form is July 01, 2013.
Final merit list will be displayed on July 15, 2013.
