B.Ed exam was ended on June 18, 2013. More than 5,000 students appeared for examination in 21 centres across University. There were 5,490 candidates registered for the exam.
Earlier, B.Ed exams were scheduled to be held from June 5, 2013. Due to delay in submission of records by many B.Ed colleges as resulted in postponement of B.Ed exams.
Later BU decided to conduct B.Edexam from June 10, 2013. On the first of the exam, many students faced problem regarding hall tickets, photograph and missing names in registers.
BU Vice-Chancellor B Thimme Gowda asked the official to care of the B.Ed evaluation process to ensure there is no external influence
VC decided to conduct a meeting with the officials of the academic council and other members on June 24 to discuss the final report submitted by the BU Task force about the B.Ed colleges affiliation.
In the report, around 41 colleges might lose its affiliation from the University.
