IIT Kharagpur Student Team at FSAE 2013

Team KART-Formula SAE team of IIT-Kharagpur has been shortlisted for the Formula SAE-2013 and is all set to prove its mettle at the Silverstone track in UK. FSAE is an internationally organized educational motorsport competition in which universities from across the globe participate (www.formulastudent.com).

The participating student teams not only have to make a performing, aesthetic, safe car but also analyze the aspects of production costs, fuel economy, recyclability and innovative use of electronics.

At the previous editions of the event, TeamKART has been nominated twice for the Airbus Team Work Award, was among the top three rookie teams and among top ten cost-efficient teams.

With its newly designed third car K-2, the team is all set to crank the performance up a notch this time. 2013 Formula Student competition is going to happen at Silverstone Circuit on from July 3-7, 2013
