Braving the heat, thousands of students queued up at the 18 colleges where the forms were being sold and submitted.
Traffic jams were reported at DU's North campus as eager students rushed to get their forms on the first day itself.
The University has made elaborate arrangements for both online and offline registrations keeping in mind the convenience of candidates especially those who belong to SC/ST/PwD categories.
The office of Dean Students' Welfare advises the candidates to make best use of online facility which is available 24 hours. This will help them in saving time as well as money.
The University of Delhi has started issuing applications for 4 year Undergraduate courses admissions from June 05 for the academic year 2013-14. Online application for the admissions will be available in all 18 colleges and in online also.
According to the admission notification by the University, the first admission list by the colleges will be put up on June 27 starting the process of admission and payment fees.
There will be a Common Pre-admission form (OMR) that will be available online as well and offline.
All students seeking admission shall have to fill this Common pre-admission form (OMR). The offline Common Pre-admission form (OMR) shall be available at the following centres from 9 AM t0 1 PM for purchase and submission.
