Students can collect BMTC bus passes from 5th June

Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will commence the first issual of Students concessional pass for the year 2013-14 on a staggered time table to facilitate smooth and hazzle free issue of passes to the student community. The category wise pass issue time table is as below:

• For Degree Colleges, PG, Engineering, ITI, Medical, and Evening college students: June 5th, 2013.
• For Primary, Secondary and High school students: June 6th, 2013.
• For Primary, Secondary and High school students: June 8th & 9th, 2013.
• For First & Second OUC students: June 12th, 2013.

Application fee:
For High School Students:

• For Boys: Rs 600/-
• For Girls: Rs 400/-

For PUC Students: Rs 900/- (Both Boys & Girls)

For College Students:

• For 12 Months: Rs. 1100/-
• For 10 months: Rs. 900/-
• For 5 months : Rs. 450/-

For Professional students:

• For 12 months : Rs.1150/-
• For 6 months : Rs.575/-

For Tech & Medical students:

• For 12 months: Rs.1680/-
• For 10 months : Rs.1000/-
• For 5 months : Rs.700/-

For Evening college students:

• For 12 months : Rs.1480/-
• For 10 months : Rs.1200/-
• For 5 months : Rs.600/-

Procedure for obtaining Student Concessional Pass:

• Applications dully filled and attested by the Head of the Educational institutions, along with tuition fee receipt are accepted.
• From-To destination and change over place to be mentioned legibly/ clearly.
• Production of tuition fee receipt for the current year for verification at the fee remittance counter is a must.
• Production of ID card issued by Education Institution necessary.
• Prescribed fee accepted only in cash. DD/Chedques, etc. are not accepted.
• The above formalities must be completed even at the time of renewal of 5 months passes.

The passes will be available at the 36 pass BMTC counters, including the following, Kempegowda Bus Station, Shivajinagar Bus Station, Shanthinagar Bus Station, BMTC Indiranagar Depot, Domlur Bus Station, Jeevanbhimanagar Bus Station, K R Puram Bus Station, Kalyan Nagar Bus Station, Kavalbyrasandra Bus Station, Basaveshwaranagar Bus Station, Vijayanagar TTMC, Chandra Layout Bus Station, MCTC Bus Station, Kumarswamy Layout Bus Station, Kengeri TTMC, Neelasandra Bus Station, Hampi Nagar Bus Station, Nandini Layout Bus Station, Nelamangala Bus Station, Chowdeshwari (Mathikere) Bus Station, Vidyaranyapuram Bus Station, Yelahanka 5th Phase, Rajajinagar 1st ‘N' Block, Malleswaram Bus Station, Jayanagar TTMC, Channamanakere Acchukattu, BTM Layout Bus Station, Electronics City Depot, BMTC Koramangala TTMC, K R Market, Yeshwantpur TTMC, Kadugodi, Banashankari TTMC, Bannerghatta TTMC, Uttarahalli and Chandapura Bus Stations.

The counters will function from 8 AM to 5 PM on all working days and remain close on Sundays & General Holidays.
