How to apply for 1 Yr LL.M Program
In pursuance of the UGC Guidelines dated 18th January 2013 regarding the introduction of One-Year LL. M. Program, most of the NLUs have introduced One-Year LL. M. Program from the Academic Session 2013-14.

The details regarding the LL. M. Program offered by various NLUs have also been posted on the websites of the individual NLUs. In the changed situation wherein the LL. M. Program has undergone some kind of restructuring with regard to the duration of the course and the specializations offered, there were a number of requests from LL. M.

Applicants for CLAT-2013 asking for giving them an opportunity for submitting fresh preferences for universities so that the allotment could be made accordingly.

The matter was placed before the CLAT Core Committee for its consideration and approval. Taking note of the changes in the LL. M. Program offered by various NLUs, the Core Committee has approved the matter and permitted the candidates to submit their fresh preferences.

The candidates who have appeared in CLAT-2013 for admission to the LL. M. program are therefore instructed to take a look at the LL. M. program and specializations offered by various NLUs and submit their preferences online latest by 12:00 mid night of 4th June 2013.

Instructions for Online submission:

  • LL. M. candidates who have applied for CLAT-2013 either through online or offline are required to login to the online system of submission of preferences by using their Roll Number and Date of Birth.
  • After successfully logging in to the online system, the candidates will be directed to a web page titled CLAT-2013 University Preferences having drop-down options for submitting their preferences for various National Law Universities.
  • After filling in the preferences for various NLUs through drop-down options, the candidates can click on the submit button and save their preferences by clicking on okay button. It must be noted that after submitting the preferences, no one will be able to make any changes in the preferences submitted already.
  • Then the candidates can take a print out of the saved preferences submitted by them by clicking on the print button.
