Earlier, the results were scheduled on June 2 the day when the Advanced Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to IITs and the common entrance test for admission to MBBS course in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer), Puducherry will be held.
Though parents and students forced APSCHE board to postpone the results of EACMET.
NV Ramana Rao, convener of Eamcet said, "There are multiple examinations lined up for the day and we do not want to pressurise students. The results will, therefore, be declared at 5 PM on June 5."
Around 3.83 lakh aspirants registered for EAMCET 2013 entrance exam on May 10.
EAMCET 2013 ranks will be calculated with 25% weightage of marks secured in the Intermediate Examinations and not the advanced supplementary exams. The EAMCET Medical Stream Results will be linked to the final outcome of the NEET PG case in the Supreme Court.
EAMCET was conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE for entry into the first year of the following Under Graduate Professional courses offered for the academic year 2013-14 in the University & Private unaided and affiliated Professional colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
