Now its time for the CET counseling for Seat selection process. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced that the CET 2013 counseling beings from June 5 to 23.
Candidates have to go to the KEA board for Document verification after that board will call the eligible candidates for seat selection process.
All General Merit and Reserved Categories candidates can verify their documents in any of the assigned Helpline Centres as per the schedule according to their rank.
Around 1.4 lakh candidates registered for Karnataka CET 2013 for admission to professional degree courses in colleges across the state.
KEA had conducted KCET 2013 on May 01, 02 and 03, 2013.
A total of 1,37,560 candidates took the test and about 38,623 candidates are in the top ranks for medical and dental seats while 68,943 are eligible for Indian System of Medicine (Ayurveda, Suddhi etc) and Homeopathy.
This time, the KEA had conducted CET for agriculture and veterinary courses and 74,737 candidates are eligible for B.Sc, Agriculture course, 72,394 for veterinary (BVsc) course, 73,316 food technology and 10,0948 for agriculture technology seats.
As per the seat matrix notified by the government. The dummy allotment will be done on June 27, 2013, and the candidates have the option of making last minute changes and obtain the final allotment on June 29, 2013.
Karnataka Education Minister R V Deshpande announced that the fee structure for Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic and Engineering courses in the State's Government & Private colleges will remain same as last year.
