West Bengal University of Technology CET,PGET, JEMAT 2013 notification

West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), Kolkata announced the Common Entrance Test (CET), Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) and Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) notification.

CET 2013 for Non AICTE Professional Colleges:
Admission to NonAICTE professional courses(UG, PG) of WBUT will be made through Common Entrance Test (CET) 2013.

Eligibility:

• For Bachelor's Degree Courses: 10+2 passed in General or Vocational Stream from any recognised Board with pass marks in each of the main subjects.
• For Master Degree Courses: Passed with Honours Degree from any UGC recognised University.

How to apply:

• Candidates shall have to apply in the prescribed form attached with the Brochure which is available till 4th June, 2013 from the Indian Bank, WBUT Branch (between 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.) and also from Affiliated colleges & institutes on all weekdays on payment of Rs.300/( Rs.150/for SC & ST candidates of West Bengal only) in cash. This form can also be downloaded from university website.
• The filled in form should be submitted along with a DD of Rs.400/( Rs.200/for SC & ST candidates of WB) drawn in favour of ' WBUT - CET' from any nationalised bank payable at Kolkata.
• Forms that have been downloaded from the website should be submitted along with a DD of Rs.700/( Rs.350/for SC & ST candidates of WB) drawn in favour of ' WBUT - CET' from any nationalised bank payable at Kolkata.

Post Graduate Entrance Examination (PGET) 2013 for M.Tech/M.Pharm Courses:

Eligibility:

• A relevant AICTE recognised Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy or MCA or a relevant MSc degree or in any final year of such programmes.
• Note: GATE/GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from Entrance examination but will have to submit the application form along with requisite fee and supporting documents.

• Candidates shall have to apply in the prescribed form attached with the Brochure which is available till 14th June, 2013 from the Indian Bank, WBUT Branch (between 11.00 a.m. to
• 4.00 p.m.) and also from Affiliated colleges & institutes on all weekdays on payment of Rs.300/(Rs.150/for SC & ST candidates of West Bengal only) in cash. This form can also be downloaded from university website.

• Successful candidates have to pay Rs.300/for PI & Counseling by DD drawn in favour of 'WBUT- PGET' from any nationalised bank payable at Kolkata.

Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) 2013 for admission to MBA Courses:

Eligibility:

• The minimum qualification for admission to MBA/MMA/MHA/AICTE approved PG Diploma programmes is a Bachelors Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medical/ Dental/ Agriculture or other Professional Courses from recognised Universities. The candidates who will appear in final Examination (Graduation) may also apply.

• Candidates shall have to apply in the prescribed form attached with the Brochure which is available till 14th June, 2013 from the Indian Bank, WBUT Branch (between 11.00 a.m. to
