From Mumbai division, which includes Thane and Raigad as well, 3.22 lakh candidates have taken the exam. The speculations were rife over the date of the result and May27 and May30 were the two most "highly" speculated days. A provisional mark-sheet will also be provided which can be downloaded from the site.The exam was conducted in Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Amravati, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Latur and Konkan districts of Maharashtra. All the state boards have been directed by Supreme Court to declare the result of class 12 by June 5 to streamline the process of admission in professional courses. The delay in the result announcement was expected due to the boycott of evaluation of Higher Secondary Certificate examination answer sheets by junior college teachers.
