'Do not Fall Prey to Admissions outside Centralized System': ACPC

Gujarat: ACPC Warns Students & Parents
The Ahemdabad Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) had held its counselling session on Thursday at the Ahmedabad University campus.

As a large number of students took part in the Counselling process, a host of another questions which consumed at the minds of students and their parents.

ACPC member Girish Moda said "students were specifically warned not to fall prey to institutes offering admission outside the centralized admissions system with tempting choice of engineering streams."

"All institutes recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) are part of the centralized admissions system, and the ACPC will conduct admissions to these colleges. If there is any technical institute offering admission in engineering outside centralized admissions, students should check whether such institutes are recognised," said Moda.

Tejeshwar Diwan, a student of Nirman High School, said that he was interested in the field of computers. "After the board results were announced, I had doubts whether I will get admission in CE or IT in a reputed college of the city. I have not applied in colleges outside Gujarat. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that I will get admission in the branch of my choice."
