The BIMTECH, which started its journey in 1988 in New Delhi, is celebrating its silver jubilee in 2013 when it will mark its pan-India presence in Bhubaneswar.
AICTE has already approved a total of 120 seats for management programmes to be conducted at the Bhubaneswar campus.
The sprawling campus of BIMTECH, Bhubaneswar has been set up on a 30-acre land in the Gothapatna Institutional Area allotted by the State Government in 2009.
The second campus of BIMTECH in Bhubaneswar is being launched when the institute is celebrating its Silver Jubilee year in 2013.
Dr. H. Chaturvedi, Director, BIMTECH said that BIMTECH is currently partnering with 45 foreign B-schools and universities from Europe, US, Latin America, Africa and South East Asia. "Arrangements have been made for exchange of faculty and students from Bhubaneswar Campus to go abroad to pursue a semester with partner institutions. The Bhubaneswar Campus will facilitate a close liaison with the industry for students and faculty."
According to the Director, the Bhubaneswar campus will be an Integrated Campus having as many as 9 buildings with residential facility for all students and faculty members. Leading companies like IBM, LG, Godrej, Vodafone, ACIL, Liqvid, Fibrefill etc. have been engaged to provide various kinds of facilities and services."
