The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore which is responsible for conducting Common Entrance Test (CET-2013) for admission to first year undergraduate courses like Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering/ Technology and Agriculture courses for the academic year 2013-14.
Around 1.39 lakh candidates registered for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2013) for admission to professional degree courses. The examination was conducted in 287 examination centres across the State, of which 69 centres are located in Bangalore. Of the total students, 35,820 took the exam in Bangalore, and 1,03,419 appeared in 218 centres situated outside Bangalore.

Highlights of the examination: Karnataka CET 2013 fairly easy
Students said Biology paper was easy, and Physics & Mathematics was tricky. A student said "The paper was a mix of many questions. Some questions had tricky options,"
"Today's Physics paper was little tricky, and Chemistry was moderately easy, and yesterday's Biology paper was easy. Maths also had some tricky questions. I was not able to attend more than 40 questions in maths paper," said another student.
