
Web options should be registered from 1st June to 7th June, 2013. Those who want to change their web options must approach the helpline centres on 7th June. Seats will be allotted to the students on 10th June.
The students who are allotted seats must report to their colleges on 14th June. Classes will commence from the same date.
Fee for polytechnic courses in government colleges is Rs. 3,800, and in private colleges the fee is Rs. 15,500. For details of web counselling, the students can visit dteap.nic.in .
Admissions into polytechnic courses will be based on the rank the students obtained in Polycet 2013. Rankers have to give their options through web counselling from 1st June to 7th June. Authorities advised the students to keep their study, income and caste certificates ready.
Technical education and training council collected Rs. 350 fee for Polycet 2013. This is Rs. 100 more than EAMCET exam. Around 2.55 lakh candidates applied for Polycet and the total fee collected from them was Rs. 8,92,50,000.
Now it is ready to collect the processing fee for web counselling OC/BC and minority students have to pay Rs. 300 and SC, ST students have to pay Rs. 150. Around 1,77,678 candidates qualified in Polycet 2013. Among these 54,691 are SC/ST candidates who have to pay Rs. 150. Remaining students will pay a processing fee of Rs. 300. That means for web counselling the students pay a fee of Rs. 3.70 crores.
Meanwhile, it is informed that the number of seats in polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the year 2013-14 have been increased. A total of 1.18 lakh seats are available in the state. There are 115 government polytechnic colleges and 332 private polytechnic colleges.
