
SC lifted its stay on the declaration of state and Deemed universities results of the medical entrance exam conducted by them.
The Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice Altamas Kabir also permitted the Medical Council of India (MCI) to declare the results of the national eligibility-cum-entrance test (NEET) conducted by it.
The court will pronounce its verdict on the validity of these tests on July 2.
Around 90,000 medical aspirants are waited for the final verdict.
NEET exam was declared by MCI in September that to with instruction of court for a fair and transparent system in medical dental and PG admissions. Exam was conducted by the National board of examination in December 2012.
