
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance examination conducted by 14 National Law Schools / Universities for admissions to their undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programmes (LL.B and LL.M) commencing on session 2013.
The CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) 2013 was held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at 03.00 PM to 05.00 PM.
The CLAT-2013 had conducted by Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur.
The total aspirants for LLB are 29,530 while 1,385 had registered for LLM. The test was held in 20 cities across the country.
"No complaints were received from any centre, '' said RMLNLU registrar Anita Mishra.
The candidates had to answer 200 multiple choice questions each carrying one mark. This year, negative marking (deduction of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer) will be done.
The two-hour test comprised had sections on English (40 marks), general knowledge/current affairs (50 marks), elementary mathematics (numerical ability-20 marks), legal aptitude (50 marks) and logical reasoning (40 marks). Most of the candidates found the paper easy.
