A total of 8.49 lakh students had appeared for SSLC examination in March 2013. The examination were held across the state in about 34 district centres.
Chikkodi District stands 1st place in SSLC results with a pass percentage of 89.86%, Mandya placed 2nd with 88.56% and Udupi placed 3rd. Bidar district placed last with 67.95%.
Girls Lead Boys by 10%. With the pass percentage of 82.29%, girls continued to leave behind their counterparts at the Secondary school Leaving Certificate (SSLC) results declared on Monday.The Principal Secretary, Primary and Secondary Education who announced the results said "They have recorded a difference of 10% in the pass percentage compared to boys, which is a good sign".
