NIT, Silchar Opens MBA, M.Sc, M.Tech & Ph.D Admission 2013

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Silchar invites application for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) Programme commencing in the session 2013.

Please Note:
Admission process will be conducted only for those seats which are likely to be vacant after 4th round of allotment through CCMT 2013 for M.Tech Programme.

The Programme are offered in:
Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Master of Science (M.Sc) in:

• Applied Physics
• Mathematics
• Applied Chemistry

M.Tech Programme in:

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Computer Science and Engineering

Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) in:

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Chemistry
• Mathematics

Eligibility:
For M.Sc:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in science discipline with 50% of marks from a recognized university.

For M.Tech:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent in an appropriate area with at least 60% of marks from a recognised university.

For Ph.D:
Candidates should have a M.E/M.Tech degree in relevant discipline with 60% of marks or B.E /B.Tech in relevant discipline with 70% of marks from a recognized university.

For MBA:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Science/ humanities/ Technology or equivalent in an appropriate area atleast 50% of marks from a recognized university.

Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on GATE score for M.Tech, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

How to apply:

• The Application form can be downloaded from the official website of National Institute of Technology Silchar.
• The filled application form along with demand draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST) in the favor of The Director, NIT Silchar payable at SBI, NIT Silchar should be submitted to the institute.
