Today's education field sees an increased number of students opting for all type of courses provided across India. As per the information by the secondary and higher secondary board, it said there is increase in class 10 and class 12 students when compared to last year.

Hence, there is a wide requirement of seats for the students who are applying for class 11/ First yr Junior College. And here is the solution given by the Education department. Yes, this is an good news for first year junior college applicants of the academic year 2013-14.

The Education department has approved around 7000 new seats, where the total number of seats have gone up to 2.72 lakh from 2.65 lakh seats which were available lat year. But still, the officials worry that there may still be vacant seats left behind.

A senior official of Education Department, Deputy Director of School Education said "Classes at most big colleges already are at full capacity, and can't add more divisions. The new seats are at schools what who applied to start Junior college attached to their schools".

"Every year, the admission process in both Online and Offline is rushed by students for few colleges. Seats at many junior colleges attached to schools are lying vacant. Hopefully, this won't happen this year too", he added.
