Panjab And Delhi University Law Exam Date Clashes

The exam schedule released by Punjab University has not gone down well with candidates and student bodies are now objecting to the date of the law entrance exam.

The Students Organization of Punjab University (SOPU), on Friday had submitted a memorandum to the university officials drawing their attention towards the issue of dates of the three-year law entrance exam.

According to the students, the date for the entrance, to be conducted by PU authorities, June 9. will clash with the dates of Delhi University entrance test.

SOPU president Rashpal Hakuwala said "As a result, students who are from PU and Affiliated colleges and want to appear in both examinations will not be able to do so".

Although every effort is made during the scheduling process to minimise the occurrence of examination clashes, there will be instances where it will be unavoidable and examinations shall be scheduled at the same time.
