VIT University, Vellore invites application form for VIT Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE-2013) for admission in Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) programme in Chennai and Vellore campus commencing in the session 2013-14.
Exam Pattern:
- The computer based test (CBT) question Paper consists of 110 questions, with a maximum of 100 marks.
- There is no negative marking for the wrong answers.
Eligibility:
For MCA:
- Candidates should have a bachelor degree in any branch with at least one of the following subjects at the under graduate level: Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics and Business Mathematics. With 60% of marks from recognized university.
- Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
For M.Tech;
- Candidates should have an B.E / B.Tech degree in Engineering / Technology discipline with 50% of marks from a recognized university.
- Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on VITMEE Score and interview conducted by the university.
How To Apply:
- Application form can be filled in online through official website of VIT university.
- Candidates have to take the print out of the filled application form.
- Printed application with enclosed the computerized Demand draft for Rs.900/- drawn from any Nationalised Bank in favour of the 'VIT University', payable at Vellore.
- Write your Application Number, Name, Address and Mobile Number on the back side of the Demand Draft.
- Application form should reach the below address.
Important Dates:
Last date for apply of online application form is May 15, 2013.
Last date for receipt of application form is May 18, 2013.
VITMEE 2013 will be held on June 8 & 9, 2013.
