Now, Mangalore and Gulbarga Universities also accepts Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) scores of Management programmes admissions in AICTE affiliated colleges.
AICTE has made the CMAT is the compulsory Entrance test for the admissions to the AICTE affiliated colleges for management programmes admissions.
Mangalore University released a notice that, candidates who wish to join for the MBA courses in university have to appear for CMAT May 2013.
The Registrar of Gulbarga University, Dayanand Agsar said the State government had given a clear direction in this regard. All final year bachelor's degree students and those who have already secured a bachelor's degree were eligible to write the CMAT.
Prof. Agsar also said the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore would not conduct separate entrance test for MBA programmes admissions in the state and that the KEA will make admission to the government quota seats as per the merit list of CMAT.
Form the academic year 2013-14 candidates ahev to appear for CMAT test for MBA admissions. Candidates can appear CMAT two times in a year. Best od the two CMAT scores will be used for admissions to Management programmes.
Those candidates who could not appear in earlier CMAT can appear for CMAT additional test to be conducted by AICTE during May 2013 by registering Online.

Similarly, the institutions which impart MBA will also follow the merit list of CMAT 2013-14 to fill their quota of seats.
