IIT Hyderabad Opens M.Tech & M.Phil admission 2013

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad invites application for admission to Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) programmes commencing in the session 2013.

The M.Tech specialization are offered in:

• Bio Medical Engineering
• Bio Technology
• Chemical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science & Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Material Science & Engineering

The M.Phil specializations are offered in:

• Anthropology
• Cultural Studies
• Economics
• English
• Sociology
• Psychology

Eligibility:
For M.Tech:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology with 60% (55% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized university.

For M.Phil:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline with 60% (55% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognized university.

Selection Procedure:
The candidates will be selected based on GATE 2013 score.
