49 Students Debarred From UP Board Exams
The Uttar Pradesh State Board Exams for Class 10 students begin on 12th March onwards. The examination board had set tight security all around the examination centres across the state.

Inspite of this, the day 1 of exam had hundreds of students who were debarred from the examinations on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. The second day also had a few issues as the same. Yes, around 49 students apart from 228 students on first day was debarred from writing their exmas due to multiple registrations.

The security incharge found insufficient staff as responsible for the distributed examinations. Though these students had requested the District inspector of schools (DioS) were finally disappointed as they were refused to take up exams.

An official/ incharge from the Examination board said that the students had registered more than once because taking exams from the villages would provide them a greater opportunity to cheat. Apart from the multiple registrations, thousands did not appear for their examinations.

The sources revealed that on day 1 around 6073 students of class 10 and 778 students along with 78 of them from class 12/ intermediate level had missed their hindi, physics and business studies board exams. On the day 2 4 students missed music exams, 95 and 3 students missed their home science exmas and language exmainations too.
