Rajasthan MCA Entrance test process goes online

The Board of Technical Education (BTE), Rajasthan announces that the Master of Computer Application (MCA) entrance test process will go online from the academic year 2013-14.

Students from the rural areas are getting trouble by getting application form to apply for entrance exams. Now they have to fill online application for entrance tests.

According to the BTE department, nearly 30% of students from rural areas apply for MCA entrance test. Due to insufficient number of application forms available at public banks in rural areas, they have to wait or travel to other places to fill and submit the forms.

Meanwhile, the submission of MCA entrance test online application form commenced from March 11 to March 31, 2013. The candidates have to fill up the online application form at their own level by logging on to website after depositing the examination fee either at E-mitra kiosks or common service centres (CSC).

The MCA entrance test will be conducted on May 12 at five different test centres across the state. From this year, the students without mathematics subject background will also able to apply for MCA entrance test.

The Co-ordinator of MCA admission test 2013, S K Bansal said, "From this year students have to fill online application form for entrance test. We has tried to implement it last year as well but failed. The online system will help students in rural areas of Rajasthan and they can easily fill the form,"

In addition to that Rajasthan Pre-Engineering test (RPET) will also goes online from this year.

The Co-ordinator of RPET 2013, S K Singh said, "The RPET 2013 entrance test will be hled on May 23, 2013. For this aspirants have to apply online,"
